Charnwood Micronised Linseed

High in health giving, and fully balanced Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids (unique in feed ingredients), Micronised Full Fat Linseed Meal provides health within, and appearance without! Its high energy, combined with very low starch levels, is especially beneficial to all horses including older horses, and those prone to Laminitis. In addition, Linseed provides the greatest level (26%) of high quality dietary fibre in any food.
This mix of soluble and insoluble fibre traps water in the intestine, aiding gut flow and nutrient absorption. Micronising destroys the “anti nutritive factors” present in raw linseed, resulting in a product that provides a unique combination of palatable, digestible protein, together with the most concentrated vegetarian source of Omega 3 fatty acids found in nature.
Micronisation not only enhances feed value and palatability, but also destroys Linase, so that the resulting product can be fed direct to all stock. The high oil, and low starch content makes Micronized Linseed a safe health and conditioning feed, which can be fed straight from the bag, or included in most feed regimes.
